Dia del Niño held at the Phoenix Zoo

Día del Niño, or Day of the Child presented by SRP, will be celebrated at the Phoenix Zoo.

The event, held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, April 26, features the regular zoo experience with music, folkloric dancers and activities. 

Entertainment will be happening throughout the day, including dance groups and live music.

Día del Niño, or Day of the Child presented by SRP, will be celebrated at the Phoenix Zoo.

The event, held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, April 26, features the regular zoo experience with music, folkloric dancers and activities. 

Entertainment will be happening throughout the day, including dance groups and live music.

• Enjoy free rides on the Endangered Species Carousel courtesy of Valley Toyota
Dealers!
• Mariachi bands, folkloric dancers and more entertainment!
• Pinatas!
• Up close animal encounters
• Safari Cruiser rides narrated in Spanish
• Face painting*
• Splash pads to cool off!
• Creature Features – learn about some of the Zoo’s residents, including prairie
dogs, flamingos, alligators and more!
• Luchadores meet & greet
• Thumbprint cacti
• Make your own mariachi puppet & folklorico doll
• Cactus ring toss
