Development on Carefree Highway hits milepost

A Shell gas station is now open at the northeast corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Old Carefree Highway in north Peoria.

A Shell gas station recently opened at the northeast corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Old Carefree Highway.

The gas station and convenience store will service Carefree Highway travelers and patrons of Lake Pleasant.

It is part of a 37-acre mixed use project planned to include commercial, retail, multi-family residential and light industrial.
