An agreement between a semiconductor manufacturer and the city of Phoenix details out what each party can expect to bring a massive factory to the city’s northern area. And part of that will be hundreds of millions of dollars worth of infrastructure.
The agreement, a 60-page document, was released by the city of Phoenix and shows some terms for both the city and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. The agreement is dated March 31, 2021.
TSMC is slated to build an advanced semiconductor fab on a campus of about 1,050 acres north of Loop 303 and west of Interstate 17.
