Tempe-based developer GO Industrial plans to build a 1.2 million-square-foot logistics facility on 77 acres in southwest Phoenix.
The developer purchased the land south of the southeast corner of 99th Avenue and Buckeye Road over the summer for $23.6 million and announced plans to break ground in December. The project will be finished during forth-quarter 2022.
During a site plan review meeting last week, the development team asked city of Phoenix staff if an expedited review process was possible but staff said it was not because of staffing shortages among the city’s review teams. The GO Industrial team did not indicate if that would affect the construction schedule.
