Earlier this week, Thompson Thrift, a real estate development company, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the 1-million-square-foot Germann Commerce Center in Queen Creek.
Located on the southwest corner of Germann and Meridian roads, the first phase of Germann Commerce Center will consist of approximately 400,000 square feet of speculative light-industrial space in five standalone buildings spread across approximately 26 acres. The buildings will offer front-park/rear-load industrial, with clear heights from 28 to 32 feet and frontage on East Germann Road, according to a press release.
“We are very excited for this important groundbreaking,” stated Queen Creek Vice Mayor Jeff Brown in a Facebook post. “This project represents the town’s largest speculative industrial project, and it comes at a time when the town is experiencing significant interest from large employers and advanced manufacturers. It's great to be working with TT again. You will recall Thompson Thrift worked closely with the town a few years ago to bring the Sprouts-anchored QC District Commercial Center to the Town Center.”
