Detectives investigate man's death in Phoenix

Phoenix police detectives are investigating the death of a man found early Tuesday morning near 25th Avenue and Hazelwood Street.

Police responded to a shooting about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 14 and found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Initially, no signs of trauma were located on the victim by both Phoenix police and Phoenix fire personnel.  As the investigation progressed signs of trauma were located,” authorities said in a release.

Phoenix police detectives are investigating the death of a man found early Tuesday morning near 25th Avenue and Hazelwood Street.

Police responded to a shooting about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 14 and found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Initially, no signs of trauma were located on the victim by both Phoenix police and Phoenix fire personnel.  As the investigation progressed signs of trauma were located,” authorities said in a release.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in the case, police said.
