Details in boy’s 2022 death released by police

An 11-year-old disabled boy found unconscious and without a pulse at a Scottsdale Extended Stay hotel and who later died at a local hospital in January 2022 was “violently assaulted and died as a result of his injuries,” according to a Scottsdale Police Report released Sept. 13.

Chaskah Davis sustained numerous blunt force trauma injuries to his head and body, multiple stab wounds to the face, a scalding/thermal injury to his right thigh and had liquid in his lungs according to an autopsy. He also had a knife slash on his private parts, according to police reports.

Chaskah’s younger half-brother also showed signs of physical abuse.
