Despite pandemic enrollment declines, workforce group passes annual review

Arizona@Work's Phoenix region passed review in all categories

The Phoenix region for Arizona@Work, a workforce development partnership, passed in every category in its annual review, which measures how well they helped job seekers maintain employment, achieve good pay or gain professional skills or accreditation.

Arizona@Work is a private-public partnership funded by the federal government through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act passed in 2014. It provides career counseling, skills development, job search and placement service to job seekers and recruitment and employee training programs for employers as well as youth programs.

The city of Phoenix is one of 12 regions Arizona@Work cover with four offices in the city. It also has a Maricopa County region for non-Phoenix residents in the county with 10 offices.
