Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, 34605 N. Tom Darlington Road., Scottsdale, will host “Surviving the Holidays,” workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 9.
The free workshop is designed to help those who are grieving the loss of a loved one navigate the holiday season.
Recognizing that facing this festive time of year after losing a loved one can be incredibly difficult, “Surviving the Holidays” offers a compassionate and supportive environment. The class will provide practical strategies for managing grief while still honoring the memory of the individuals lost. Under the guidance of the facilitator, participants will explore ways to create new traditions, find moments of joy amidst the sorrow and connect with others who are navigating a similar experience.
