Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale names new booking director

Venue coming off most successful grossing year ever

Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale has a new director of booking, live events.

Stacy Nupoff steps into her new role with the venue, located at 9400 W. Maryland Ave., in the Westgate Entertainment District, which in 2022 posted its highest grossing year in the arena’s 19-year history.

The city of Glendale owns the venue, and the city’s 2022 profit share from the arena was $1,943,611.

The arena is managed by Los Angeles-based ASM Global, and hosted more than 50 live events in 20122 including national headliners Billie Eilish, Eric Church, Snoop Dogg & Ice Cube, Pearl Jam, and Grupo Firme.

Nupoff has more than two decades of experience as both an independent producer and talent buyer for traditional and non-traditional events, most recently at the Mesa Amphitheatre.

“Playing a key role in the continued growth of this venue is an incredible opportunity,” Nupoff shared in a press release. “It is exciting to continue collaborating with our current agents, managers, promoters and longtime partners while also being able to introduce new clients to this incredible major market arena.”

This month the venue is on track to host the most live events in one month ever at the arena.
