The Desert Caballeros Western Museum, 21 N. Frontier St., Wickenburg, announced its lineup of events and exhibitions for the 2023-24 season.
This season includes exhibitions by photographer Scott T. Baxter and painter Howard Post, the Heart of the West Gala and the 19th annual “Cowgirl Up! Art from the Other Half of the West” exhibition and sale.
Baxter, known for his work for “Arizona Highways” magazine, will showcase his photographs at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum on view through Nov. 26.
Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in Post’s newest works that traverse the terrain of the American Southwest. This exhibition will be on view Dec. 16 through Feb. 25, 2024 in the main museum galleries.
Extended through April 28, 2024, the “Mexican Folk Art: Artesanía del Pueblo” exhibition is a journey into diverse, colorful artwork from various regions of Mexico. Items are made for utilitarian or decorative purposes or created for celebrations, festivities or religious rites.
