Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a body that went under water at Lake Pleasant May 28 and did not resurface.
Deputies were dispatched to the area of South Barker Island at Lake Pleasant for a possible drowning around 11 a.m., May 28. When they arrived, witness stated that a male adult, who had not been wearing a life jacket, went underwater and did not resurface.
Deputies have been on scene searching. The cause of this incident is unknown at this time, officials said. No other information was available.
