The Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation is accepting 2024 grant applications now.
Nonprofit organizations that work with underserved populations of all ages through oral health and nutritional programs are invited to apply. Applications will be accepted for both dental and non-dental programs alike, including food banks, after-school and weekend food programs for children, and senior delivery programs, according to a press release.
“Oral health is a key indicator and critical component of overall health. Delta Dental of Arizona supports organizations that are proactively working to increase access to preventive care and to provide proactive health education across our state,” Michael Jones, Delta Dental of Arizona CEO and president and foundation chair, stated.
Grants ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 are available. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12.
Grant recipients will be notified in early 2024, with funding available soon after.
Since 2010, the Foundation has given more than $16 million to support oral health education and disease prevention programs for underserved and uninsured communities statewide.
The Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation selected 33 nonprofits across the state as recipients of its 2023 grant cycle.
