The writer accused white Christian conservatives of a list of grievances that cannot be supported with any reasonable examination. We supposedly created laws that kept “people of color, women, homosexuals and such from obtaining good jobs, health care education, wealth, you name it.”
He focuses on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion being reversed as another example of this. Where he’s wrong is that DEI is blatantly racist on its very face and is only pushed by race-baiters and radical liberals. It only seeks to divide and not unite, and provides no benefits at all to society as a whole — it just makes a few race-baiters quite rich.
Christians and conservatives (white or otherwise) pay little heed to the color of someone’s skin — that is just the wrapper that God put us all in. We look at the content of a person’s character, as famously stated by MLK.
Merit is what we focus on, not skin color. Remember who were the abolitionists before, during and after the Civil War: Christians. Remember who supported the Jim Crow laws in the South: Democrats.
The list goes on and on, but the same facts remain.
