Deer Valley Unified to consider teacher raises

Faculty resignations, hires also on Tuesday board meeting agenda

The Deer Valley Unified School District will have a better idea on teacher staffing needs — and salaries — at the next governing board meeting.

The board will take action on 57 certified resignations/non-renewals/terminations, as well as 28 new certified hires, at the meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27. The meeting will be live streamed here.

The 57 resignations take effect May 21, while the 28 new hires become effective July 23.
