Deer Valley Unified sees district budget rise to $281M

Staff gets salary increases across the board

The Deer Valley Unified School District will open the new academic year and get its new budget this month.

Before the new school year begins Monday, July 31, the district governing board is expected to approve the 2023-24 budget at its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday, July 11.

The district’s budget increases from $267.6 million a year ago to $281.4 million in FY24. It includes $5 million in staff salary increases.
