Deer Valley Unified salary increases, summer rates up for consideration

Board will also consider 4 new district principals

Pay raises for both certified and classified Deer Valley Unified School District employees, as well as pay rates for upcoming summer school positions, are up for consideration this week.

The governing board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 inside the DVUSD Governing Board Room, 20402 N. 15th Ave., Phoenix. The meeting also will be streamed online at Livestream.com.

Among the discussions on tap will be for the board to consider the FY23 salary recommendations that includes a $12 million total compensation increase. The budget would also include the potential for an additional $5.6 million in two 1.5% one-time payments.
