Deer Valley Unified proposes revised policy on teaching ‘controversial, sensitive issues’

Tuesday meeting available live online

A revised policy for teaching controversial and sensitive issues will be on the Deer Valley Unified School District governing board’s packed agenda Tuesday night.

The open meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 in the District Office Governing Board Room, 20402 N. 15th Ave. It can also be viewed live online at Livestream.com.

The board will also go into an executive session at 5:30 p.m. prior to the open meeting.
