Deer Valley Unified deputy superintendent steps down

Jim Migliorino, who has been deputy superintendent for Fiscal & Business Support Services since 2007, has stepped down to become executive director of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials. Longtime Deer Valley Unified finances employee Heather Mock will succeed Migliorino, effective July 1.

A deputy superintendent with Deer Valley Unified School District is stepping down.
Jim Migliorino, the longtime deputy superintendent for Fiscal & Business Support Services, has been appointed the executive director of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials, effective July 1.
Migliorino joined Deer Valley Unified in 2005 and has served in his role since 2007.
The district governing board on May 13 officially hired Heather Mock to succeed Migliorino as deputy superintendent of Fiscal & Business Support Services. Mock, who has served in the district finances department for 19 years, will assume her new post on July 1.
Deer Valley Unified’s Fiscal and Business Services Department provides leadership to schools and district departments for fiscal stewardship and necessary support services.
