Deer Valley Unified board race still tight, Simacek leading her House race

Unofficial results indicate that the Deer Valley Unified School District governing board may have a new look in 2025.

According to Maricopa County Elections’ current data, incumbent Kim Fisher (29,560 votes) and newcomers Karen Pack (27,763) and Steve Bottfeld (27,395) lead the eight-candidate field for the three available seats, which are four-year terms.

Julie Stockwell (26,941) and Tiffany Hawkins (25,401) trail with some 4,000 votes separating the top five candidates. Current board president Ann Ordway (20,947) also trails.
