Deer Valley Unified among AZ districts to get withheld federal money

US Department of Education releases $132M to Arizona schools

Arizona school districts, including Deer Valley Unified, will receive previously withheld federal education funding.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes earlier this month joined a coalition in filing a lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s unlawful decision by the U.S. Department of Education to freeze $132,302,753 for Arizona students and approximately $6.8 billion nationwide in funding.
