Deer Valley district worker arrested on child porn charges

Maintenance worker not believed to have contact with students

An employee of Deer Valley Unified School District has been placed on unpaid leave after he was arrested Wednesday on felony charges of child pornography.
The man, Curtis Scott Matthews, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion he possessed child pornography on some sort of electronic device he owned.
Matthews has worked in the grounds and maintenance department for the school district for more than a year.
