One person is dead following a fiery crash Friday morning in Tempe.

A person died this morning in a crash on Loop 202 in Tempe after smashing a car into the rear of a toy-hauler camping trailer connected to a pickup truck, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 7:15 a.m. Oct. 3, and the driver of the passenger vehicle died at the scene, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The car entered the left median/emergency lane prior to the collision, and the car and trailer caught fire after the crash, officials said adding the car traveled east for about 30 feet igniting two fires.
