Deadline for AZ residents to get Travel ID pushed to May 2023

No, you don’t need to worry about getting a Real ID — where a yellow and white star appears at the top right of your Arizona driver’s license.

The Department of Homeland Security pushed back a deadline that was set to take effect on Friday, Oct. 1, by 19 months to May 3, 2023, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
