The Midwestern University Dental Institute will host a special event this month that will provide free dental care and consultations for Valley children.
Give Kids a Smile will go from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Institute, located at 5855 W. Utopia Road, in Glendale.
Kids ages 6 to 14 will have the opportunity to receive free screenings and treatments including cleanings, sealants, fillings, or extractions. The Midwestern University Give Kids a Smile program is part of a nationwide initiative to provide underprivileged children with much-needed dental care.

Spanish-speaking faculty, staff, and students will be available.
Appointments will last from one to two hours. A parent or legal guardian of the child must be present at all times during the event; guardians must provide proper documentation to confirm their legal authority to make healthcare decisions for the patient.
