David Martin Gentry, was born Sept. 8, 1940 to Delbert & Olive Gentry in Detroit, MI and passed away January 22, 2019 in Sun City, AZ.A U.S. Army veteran, he resided in Phoenix and Sun City for the past 45 years. He worked for the Palo Verde Nuclear Plant then retiring from the City of Phoenix in 2002. He was an active member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Sun City where he served as a bus driver on Sunday for many years.He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Martha; step-son, Mark Muszynski; and sister, Bertha M. Chambers. He was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert and Earl Gentry.Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. with funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, AZ. Condolences may be shared at www.menkefuneralhome.com
