Daisy Eichentopf, 91, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on June 11, 2017. A memorial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on June 24th at Palos Verdes Senior Living, 18441 N. 87th Ave., Peoria, AZ.Daisy was born, raised, and educated in Chicago, IL. As a young adult, she was a skilled musician.She married Paul Krueger on June 4, 1942. They moved to Glendale, AZ in 1948 and started a small business, Glendale Schwinn Cycle. Daisy was instrumental in making the business successful.In the next several years, she raised five children. Daisy and Paul divorced in 1976.Daisy was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 48 years. She held numerous positions including President and Treasurer. In 1977 she married Charlie Eichentopf with whom she pursued her love for travel. They visited Europe, South America, and the Far East. She also enjoyed oil painting and crafting dolls. But she was most happy when surrounded by her loving family. She taught her children to be "strong and mighty."Daisy is survived by her five children, Jenny Rogers, Danny Krueger, (Rhonni), Jeff Krueger, (Sandi), Barbara Kroeger, (Bruce Kroeger), and Steven Krueger, (Mary Ellen). She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.Daisy was preceded in death by her husband of twelve years, Charlie Eichentopf.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, Peoria, AZ.
