CUSD spends $4M as part of student computer plan

A purchase of more than $4 million approved by the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board is part of a larger plan to replace all student computers.

At its April 12 meeting, the board unanimously approved a $4.058 million purchase of student laptop computers from Insight Public Sector, a local Chandler company.

The laptops in the purchase are for Arizona College Prep and Hamilton high schools to continue the 1-to-1 learning initiative in classrooms district-wide. The price includes 6,400 student laptops and configuration services.
