Crews lay asphalt for I-10 widening between Phoenix, Casa Grande

PHOENIX - Crews have begun laying pavement for the third travel lane being added in both directions along 26 miles of Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Casa Grande, state transportation officials said.

I-10 Wild Horse Pass project construction crews are paving 10 miles of asphalt in the median on eastbound I-10 near State Route 387.

The work is taking place in one of four project segments on I-10 that began construction in January, known as the I-10 Gas Line Road to south of SR 387 Project, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
