One of downtown Phoenix’s signature live-music venues is celebrating a milestone this fall.
Crescent Ballroom will mark its 15th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 3, with an afternoon-to-late-night party featuring two stages of music and a lineup showcasing the Valley’s local music scene. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with festivities beginning at 3 p.m. at the venue, 308 N. Second Ave.
The bill includes Las Calakas, Pariah Pete, Samuel L Cool J, Vinyl Station, Jerusafunk, Practically People, Tournament, MRCH, SweetBleeders and Winston Williams, along with DJs Djents, Sean Watson, Mitch Freedom and Hartbreaks. Corey Gomez will host the 21-and-over celebration. The lineup ranges from Las Calakas’ Phoenix-bred cumbia fusion and Pariah Pete’s self-described “desert jazz rap” to indie, alternative, and other sounds from across the local scene.
