Loop 202 in Chandler reopens hours after fatal crash

One person died Saturday morning following a crash on the westbound lanes of Loop 202 in Chandler, authorities said.

The muti-vehicle collision occurred near the Price Road exit, according to the Arizona Department of  Public Safety.

The Arizona Department of Transportation stated just before noon July 22 that Loop 202 has reopened after being closed for hours when traffic was diverted to Loop 101 Price Road northbound.

The eastbound lanes were unaffected.
