Voting has started for the Tempe Entertainment District, which, if passed, would approve the construction of the project by Alex Meruelo’s Bluebird Developments, despite growing concerns from some residents.
The Tempe Entertainment District has seen continued pushback from community group Tempe 1st and the city of Phoenix, while more stakeholders from Tempe City Council, community groups, and now the National Hockey League have come out in support of the new development.
