Cox rolls out free internet connections during February
Move aimed at string of events, visitors to region

Cox Communications is giving away free connections to its Wi-Fi network in the Phoenix area during the big game and more.
The telecommunications company announced Thursday that iw would offer 1,300 Wi-Fi locations for free to anyone who lived in the region as well as the anticipated 120,000 visitors coming in for the Super Bowl.
The free connections would be from Feb. 2 through Feb. 26.
Cox internet customers with Preferred, Premier, Ultimate and Gigablast internet packages have free access to all Cox WiFi hotspots as part of their service. They also have access to the nation’s largest WiFi network, CableWiFi, which includes more than half a million hotspots throughout the country and more than 1,400 in Arizona.
Through Feb. 26, everyone in the Phoenix area, will be able to access the free Super WiFi Hotspot by selecting the “FreeCoxWiFi” wireless network on their device when it detects the Super WiFi Hotspot. For more information on Cox hotspot locations, visit www.cox.com/hotspots.
