Cox gives to Tempe nonprofit to help emerging fashion designers

Cox, a communications business that provides internet across the Valley, has raised more than $540,000 to provide for nonprofits, and specifically Tempe fashion house FABRIC.

The company received a $20,000 grant from Cox Charities to support Eco Fashion Week, a flagship event that promotes sustainability in the fashion industry.

“The funding ensures we can keep the programming accessible and inclusive for K–12 students, emerging designers, and families, while also raising awareness about sustainability and providing entrepreneurs with the resources and platforms they need to thrive," Angela Johnson, Tempe-based FABRIC co-founder, said in a statement.
