Cox Communications to become Spectrum after sale to Charter Communications

Charter Communications on Thursday announced it has completed its merger with Cox Communications and Liberty Broadband and will become Spectrum.

Cox has been in the Arizona market since 1995.

Cox customers will see no changes to its current pricing and packing of products, and Spectrum will be offering a free year of mobile service to Cox customers who don’t already subscribe to Cox Mobile, Chris Winfrey, Charter President and CEO announced during a conference call.
