COVID-19: Scottsdale cases increase by 1,500 in new year

Scottsdale is kicking off the new year with records of more than 15,000 total cases of COVID-19.

Numbers provided by the Arizona Department of Health Services on Jan. 4 show 15,768 total cases of COVID-19 mapped to Scottsdale’s nine ZIP codes.

City-wide, compared with numbers last week — 14,265 — there have been 1,503 new cases since last Monday.
