Countryside in Surprise transitions to K-4

Change optimizes student growth

A transition took place over the summer of 2021 at Countryside Elementary School and students are continuing to grow.

The campus was changed from K-8 to a K-4 school, which was a big undertaking that began a year ago with boxes of supplies and the merging of teachers from Ashton Ranch and Countryside schools.

Marcianne Hessler has been the principal at Countryside for eight years and said she and assistant principal Michelle Hill have recognized the dedication the staff has shown and continues to contribute to the success of students.
