Country star Alan Jackson announces new Glendale date

Tickets go on sale March 18

Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson has a rescheduled date for his Glendale tour stop.

The three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year will be in town Friday, Sept. 30 at Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave.

Jackson’s latest tour will bring more than 30 years of hits to cities across the U.S. as he hits the road for the first time since revealing a health diagnosis last fall. He was originally scheduled perform at Gila River Arena in 2020.

“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Jackson shared in a statement. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow.”

Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored for the new show date.

For new ticket buyers, tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18 at Ticketmaster.com.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, March 15 through the Citi Entertainment program. For presale details visit citientertainment.com.
