Thirteen fleet vehicles for Apache Junction police, library and parks and recreation and four items for the public works department will be purchased for more than $1.1 million, the City Council decided recently.
The replacement fleet vehicles and accessories budgeted for the current fiscal year that cost $1,120,450 total are under a cooperative contract with the state of Arizona, two cooperative contracts with Sourcewell and a cooperative contract with Houston Galveston Area Council.
The council voted unanimously Aug. 3 to approve the contracts as part of a consent agenda.
