Cotton Lane stretch reopens in Surprise after sinkhole

Posted

Southbound Cotton Lane from Surprise Farms Loop South to Greenway Road has reopened following a closure due to a sinkhole.

Crews have installed a steel road plate over the affected area as a temporary surface for traffic to pass over until permanent repairs can be complete.

To minimize traffic delays, permanent repairs are planned for the week of March 13 while area schools are on spring break.
