Costumes bring Halloween cheer to NICU families

At Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, even the tiniest patients got to join in on the Halloween fun this week.

Babies in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were dressed in festive costumes, from miniature mummies to tiny vampires, after a donation from the Phoenix chapter of Project Sweet Peas, a nonprofit that supports NICU families.

According to Linda Nofer, Abrazo Health communications manager, for parents spending their baby’s first holidays inside the hospital, the costumes offer moments of joy.
