Cosanti Originals — the boutique business where skilled artisans handcraft wind bells and other artful decor items in bronze and clay on-site at two culturally significant places in central Arizona — announced its upcoming participation in the popular Canal Convergence public art event that focuses on Water + Art + Light.

Celebrating its 10th year of large-scale public art in and around the Arizona Canal at the Scottsdale Waterfront, Canal Convergence takes place Nov. 4 through Nov. 13.

According to the release, the event features a number of large-scale and interactive art displays as well as augmented reality artworks and AR experiences. The family-friendly event also features live music, workshops, dance performances, food and beverage and more.

“We are thrilled to once again be participating in this incredible display of creation and innovation,” Mark Johnson, general manager of Cosanti Originals, stated in the release. “As a community of artists, we aim to engage with other art groups to promote the many forms of artistic expression that exist right here in our state. It is especially poignant to be participating in the 10-year anniversary event of Canal Convergence, which has continued to evolve and improve with each passing year.”

Cosanti Originals will have a booth featuring its popular handcrafted wind bells for sale Nov. 4 through Nov. 6 and Nov. 11 through Nov. 13 from 6  to 10 p.m. nightly.

The release also detailed that Cosanti will also host two workshops on ceramic bell casting and carving — one on Nov. 6 and one on Nov. 13, both from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.

Participants can register via the Scottsdale Public Art website at https://canalconvergence.com/event/cosanti-bell-carving/2022-11-06/
