The Cosanti Foundation board announced that after two years of service, Liz Martin-Malikian has resigned from her position as CEO and executive director.

“Liz's remarkable dedication, vision, and leadership have made a profound impact on our organization and the community,” said Matteo Di Michele, the foundation’s board of directors’ chair. “Her drive and passion inspire us all to strive for excellence and drive positive change.”

During her tenure, Martin-Malikian helped to usher in a new strategic plan through the board, residents and staff, built strategic partnerships with complementary organizations, spearheaded the inaugural Cosanti Medal prize, organized an academic conference and helped to improve and stabilize operations and organizational processes, among many other accomplishments.

“We are grateful to Liz for the energy, vision, and heart that she dedicated to our foundation as well as with her educational background serving as a liaison between The School of Architecture and the foundation,” said Jean E. Tuller, chief operating officer for the foundation.

Board member Ivan Fritz will step into the role of interim executive director and CEO. Fritz has the full support of the board and is well-positioned to assume leadership responsibilities having been an integral part of the Cosanti Foundation since its early stages. The board will oversee the process of permanently filling the position this fall.
