APACHE JUNCTION - "Corky" died Friday, Jan. 20th, 2017 at her home in Apache Junction. She was born Jun. 24, 1962 in Walker, Minn. to Kenneth and Marion Borgstahl. She married Jeffrey Watne in 1998. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Watne; her father, Kenneth (and Mary) Borgstahl of Slayton, Minn.; her sister, Jean (and Roger) Hoppe of Mankato, Minn.; and her brother, Dean (and Rhonda) Borgstahl of Owatonna, Minn.; and many cousins, nieces & nephews. Corky's' mother, Marion preceded her in death in 2006. She graduated from Faribault Senior High School, Faribault, Minn. in 1980, lived in Faribault for a short time then lived in California and Apache Junction. Corky was a long time resident of Apache Junction where she and her husband lived and worked. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, Feb. 5th, at the Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa.
