Cordes resigns, will run for Florence mayor

Michelle Cordes has resigned as Florence Town Council member to run for mayor in the 2024 race.

Michelle Cordes has resigned as a member of the Florence Town Council in order to run for mayor.

Cordes’ resignation was effective Thursday, March 28 and will be formally announced at the council’s Monday, April 1 meeting as talks begin on a possible replacement.
