Copeland: Montgomery needs to stay on abortion case

Posted

Of course, Planned Parenthood doesn’t want Arizona Supreme Court Justice Bill Montgomery on the panel to decide the fate of abortion — they don’t want anyone to defend the case for life of the unborn fetus who has no voice in the decision but ours.

Most women now, with birth control pills easily available, can decide if they want to get pregnant or not. Why are we still having unwanted babies that need to be aborted — except in cases of rape or incest?

I am not in favor of having all abortions by qualified doctors ended — because then women desperate for an abortion would have to go back to the back-alley butchers of the past — but with birth control so readily available, there should be little need for abortions today.

While Planned Parenthood feels abortion should be between a woman and her doctor, who will speak out for the unborn victims, if not Bill Montgomery. I hope he does not recuse himself.
