Controversial Mercado Courtyards is seeking approval from Scottsdale

The controversial Mercado Courtyards mixed use development near the intersection of 92nd Street and Shea Boulevard is back for a third go at approval from Scottsdale city officials.

Developer Caliber Companies will ask the Scottsdale Planning Commission for permission to file a new application for the project during the commission’s June 14 meeting.

They are claiming changes to the new iteration of the project make it a new application, and could therefore be considered again before the one year mark.
