Construction officially started Wednesday on a sprawling 4 million-square-foot industrial park project in Goodyear near the intersection of Camelback and the 303 called Camelback 303.
Phase one of construction installs a 516,320-square-foot cross-dock building at the southeast corner of Camelback Road and Pebble Creek Parkway.
Features of the cross-dock include a 40-foot clear height, four drive-in doors, 190-foot concrete truck courts and 70-foot speed bays, with clerestory windows to let in natural light. The space will also create storefronts at three building corners and 421 auto and 103 expandable trailer spaces.
