The Apache Junction Unified School District is pleased to announce several construction projects that will modernize our campuses.
Many of these projects began and were completed last school year with more improvements coming for 2023-24.
The Arizona School Facilities Board has provided grants to AJUSD without any additional cost to the district or the community.
AJUSD Director of Facilities Larry Hill has worked in conjunction with the school facilities board to ensure the improvements surpass their already high standards.
The grants have benefited all campuses with various projects such as weatherization with new doors and windows, roofing improvements, and grading and drainage design. Cactus Canyon Junior High School will also receive a new floor and bleachers for its gymnasium.
Campuses are already seeing significant improvements with more to come this school year. These renovations will enhance the physical appearance of our campuses and be a source of pride for students, staff and the community.
All projects are scheduled to be completed by Spring 2024.
