Construction on Phoenix’s new Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. fab is moving along without a hitch, according to a top TSMC official.
Peter Cleveland, vice president of the TSMC legal department, sounded energized as he spoke about the progress of the first phase of the first building at the Sonoran Oasis Science and Technology Park north of Loop 303 and west of Interstate 17.
He spoke on a webinar Oct. 28 with officials from Greater Phoenix Economic Council and California- based Intel Corp. about Arizona’s booming semiconductor industry. The webinar was part of a regional report created by the council on the semiconductor industry.
